What's a “cycle,” actually?

One ONI turn that ends in a real GitHub commit. ONI reads your repo + business memory, plans, edits, commits, and writes a one-line summary. A cycle costs us a few cents in compute; we bundle 30–120 a month into the plan.
What happens when my wallet hits $0?

ONI pauses. Your project's progress is preserved. The chat shows a friendly “wallet empty” banner with a top-up button — no failed-card spam, no debt piling up. Top up and the next message goes through immediately.
Can I see ONI working before I sign up?

Yes — every successful turn lands on /changelog with the project name redacted. The numbers at the top of this page are pulled live from the same database. If the number is small, it's because we're early — we'd rather show small than fake big.
What won't ONI do?

Pack physical boxes, give regulated advice (tax, medical, legal), sign contracts on your behalf, or do anything that crosses a rule you set. If something's ambiguous, it pauses and asks. You're the CEO; ONI's the operator.
Where does my code live?

In your own GitHub repo. ONI commits there directly. Cancel any time and the repo stays yours, fully working, no platform lock-in. Same for emails (your mailbox), data (your Postgres), domain (your registrar).
Can I cancel mid-month?

Yes. Settings → Cancel. The wallet credit you already topped up never expires — ONI keeps running cycles against it until it empties. We don't ransom your data and we don't auto-renew without telling you.
Do I need to know how to code?

No. ONI writes the code, ships it, and tells you what changed in plain English in the morning. If you DO know how to code, you can read the diffs in your repo and steer ONI like a junior dev — both modes work.
Is this just GPT in a wrapper?

No. ONI is a multi-agent loop with its own memory, planning, and capability system — built on Claude (Anthropic) under the hood, but the orchestrator, specialists, retros, and the way ONI prioritises are ours. The platform you're reading was built by ONI itself; the code is on GitHub.
